Happy Resurrection Day!!!

We had a beautiful Easter. We started the day getting up early and heading down to Lobo Stadium for Sunrise Service. It was AWESOME! Randy Travis provided us with some wonderful worship. It only rained for about 10 minutes, so that was very nice. After service we headed to Frontier for some YUMMY grub! It's a tradition of ours every year we go with my mama. The kids were spoiled rotten by the Easter bunny! This was the first year that Isaiah REALLY understood what Easter was all about. He greeted everyone with "Happy Resurrection Day." At which point my heart melted. I love to see him Loving God! It makes me feel like I am doing something right as a parent. After breakfast we went home and I baked some cupcakes to take to Nana and Papa's. Then we headed over to Ryan's folks house and had an awesome time coloring eggs, eating some more yummy grub, and hunting for eggs (we had an inside hunt this year because it was SUPER cold outside, especially at nana and papa's!)! So here is our picture recap of our wonderful Resurrection Day!!!

ROCCO

We went to visit our puppy today. He officially has a name now, ROCCO! I said Rocky, Ryan said Rocco, then Isaiah said Rocco, so Rocco it is! He weighs just over 2 lbs now and is 3 weeks old. He is walking and LOVES to eat. He is so cute and cuddly. Hope actually walked up to him and pet him a few times. I knew she would come around eventually. We took my mom to meet him. She feel in love instantly, I think he did too. It's so cute all of the brothers and sisters lay on top of each other and then when their mom comes around they all want to nurse and tackle each other to get to the food. They all have grown so much since we last saw them. So here are some pics.

Look at that precious face

Isaiah likes him...a little!

First T-Ball game

Isaiah had his first T-ball game tonight! It is so cute! His team is the Yankees....wooohoooo! Our family loves the Yankees, especially POPPY! Let me tell you T-Ball is not like when we use to play. They don't keep score, there are no outs, they just have a certain amount of time to let the kids bat and then they switch. There are only three innings (if you can call them that). But I think it's cool because then the kids get to learn the game. And as Coach Steve says to the kids, What's the #1 rule? "HAVE FUN!!" Isaiah had a blast. My brother told him before the game that his mit was "too clean", so then while Isaiah was in the outfield he started pouring dirt into the mit. Lets just say, it is not "Too clean" anymore. Isaiah loved the fact that the helmets "bobbled on my head". He loves T-ball. I think he found his sport....till next time!

Safety first, Always wear a helmet....or just set it on top of your head, no need to push it down, right?!?!?!

BATTER UP (he hit the T a few times, but he did Great)

Running to First..."GO ISAIAH, GO!"

Running to home..."Do I touch the base???"

He is THRILLED to be in the outfield...can you tell?

Father/Son moment captured by Auntie

'NICE...my glove's not 'so clean' anymore'

I love this cute little stance, biting his bottom lip in anticipation

"Where's the ball Isaiah?"

Splish Splashin Away

Today we went up to my dad's house to celebrate my step-sister's bday. Ironically I didn't get any pics of the Bday girl, but I got a few of the kiddos in the bath. The kids always have so much fun at Poppy & Grandma's house. And since they live in the boonies, it's nice to give them a bath before we go home so they can fall asleep on the way home and go straight to bed. But this time the bath was a way of me hoping to 'wash away' the allergic reaction, so I didn't have to give Hope Benadryl. It didn't work! She ended up Benadryl'd (it's a new term in this household)! So sorry about no pics of the bday girl, but enjoy these of the kiddos. HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY KATIE! (Those were the days...j/k, I think my kids are just making me feel old today) We love you!

So Excited!!!

We are getting a minature dachsaund! Ryan's coworker sent him an email about a friend selling puppies and Ryan saw the pictures and instantly fell in love. Yes, my husband the Antidog man fell in love with a puppy. He was born 3/13 weighing 10oz. H was the first born. We haven't come up with a name yet, but isn't he adorable! We have never owned nor crate trained a puppy before, so any advice is greatly appreciated. We will pick him up on May 1st. Isaiah is ECSTATIC...Hope on the other hand is afraid of anything that moves, so there will be some adjusting!

Happy 30th Birthday Nicole

My sister-in-law turned the big 3-0 yesterday!!! And to celebrate we went to eat at the yummy Japanese Kitchen. It was so good and very entertaining as usual. Of course, Hope was scared of the fire and Isaiah had a blast, but he kept saying "it's not nice to scare babies with fire!" We had a great dinner and Happy Birthday Nicole. We love you and here's to AT LEAST 30 more!!!

Everyone enjoying the YUMMY food! Some of us are more talented at using chopsticks than others (me)!

I think Isaiah had more fun playing with the umbrellas than he did eating his food

How could you resist this cute little face :)

Missin' Alex

I have had the pleasure of watching my nephew Alex now for the last 7 almost 8months. But now he is going to start daycare. I am going to miss him soooo much. They kids are going to miss him a ton too. I remember when all he did was sleep and eat, sleep and eat. And now he is rolling all over the place and constantly cooing, saying "dadada, mamamam, and gogogogo" (I am still waiting for Aunt Cari)! He is the cutest little guy. He screams just to get your attention and then when you look at him, he smiles at you and your heart wants to melt. He and Hope are such good buddies. They love to play together and laugh at each other. It started off with her sitting on him and now I think she's a little hesitant to do anything because he could roll over her and he fights back now. He does outweigh her! It's hard to believe that such a strong baby was born with three heart defects and had heart surgery only five days after he was born. He is a little miracle and I am going to miss him. However I did get to watch him for two more weeks thanks to the daycare not opening on time. I love you Alexander! I'm goin to miss you!

Hope is going to miss her favorite buddy

Playing with his favorite toy...he loves to clap when the toy claps

What a good eater...he loves to get messy!

Rollin....Rollin....Rollin

Look at those precious red cheeks

Yawn...all tired out from rollin around the house!

"I am stuck....help me....now!!!!"

My sister-in-law made this beautiful basket for me. (The day started with me crying...then ended with me crying) If you read all the little sayings, you will cry too! On the laundry detergent-"Just because I love to change clothes", face mask-"A mask for the face I love seeing to keep it beautiful", Hand lotion-"To care for the hands that cared for me", Mocha chocolates from Starbucks-"Sweets for the mouth that has given me sweet kisses," & Eye gel mask-"A teat for the eyes that have watched me grow!" See ya wanna cry don't you? Thanks Nicole!

Flapping Arms

So I always talk about Isaiah's flapping arms, well now I finally captured it on video. I let him play playhouse disney on the computer this morning and he was getting so excited. Here it is ladies and gentleman!

Camera

So we finally got a new camera with a piece of our tax refund. So I have been checking it out this week. I love it. It is so cool! I have to say a special thanks to my friend Jessica who encouraged me to look at all the ratings and research before I bought. I love it. So here are some of the pics I took, nothing fancy...I'm not quite there yet.

Happy Birthday Ryan!

Yesterday was my man's Birthday! He is the best husband, dad, and friend a girl could ever have dreamed of. I am so glad, well more like ecstatic, that God chose him to be mine. Every day I am so blessed to have a man who loves me and takes care of me and our family. I am so grateful that he was born 28 glorious years ago. He is the most caring, loving, kind, and generous man I know and HE's MINE!!! Happy Birthday babe! I love you sooooo much!

We spent the whole day together as a family. Ryan doesn't usually have President's day off, but he took it off so we could spend the day celebrating. It was so relaxing. My mom had watched the kids overnight on Sunday, so Ryan and I could have a belated Valentines date. So we picked up the kiddos and then met Ryan's parents and younger brother Ted for lunch. Then we came home and Isaiah and I baked Ryan a birthday cake. It was so much fun. Isaiah loves to bake and help me in the kitchen. Then we went out to dinner with my mom and my brother and his family. It was a beautiful day.

Isaiah picked out a spiderman candle to put on the cake

Isaiah was so excited to blowout the candles with daddy that he was waving his hands and moving so much that the pictures didn't come out! I love it!
