Kids & Their dogs
My friend Mariah and I met at a great park near Old Town with the kiddos and our puppies. Mariah has a chihuahua puppy around five months and it is so small that our two month old Rocco could have eaten him! The kids had a blast playing in the park and showing off their puppies to EVERYONE in old town.

Beginning of a new season
T-Ball is on it's way....two games a week and one practice a week! And they don't cancel a game unless it's lightening! So when it's pouring rain, we are still at the fields! It's crazy! What have I gotten myself into??? But Isaiah is having so much fun with T-ball. He loves it! Here is a recap of the last game...

End of One Season
So it's the end of one season...the soccer season! We had our last game on a. Isaiah's skills improved a little throughout the season. We'll have to see if he wants to play again next season. I think he did GREAT for it being his first season and only 5yrs old. It was his coach's first season as well, so the team got a chance to develop together. Isaiah had a lot of fun. And at the end of the season party (I forgot the camera) the coach said Isaiah brought "Respect and good manners to the team." Yes-I am doing something right!!!
He loved his teammates!

"Can I have your number???" He's starting early.....:(

Last kick of the season

Hope still has a smile even though her face is numb from the wind

Happy Resurrection Day!!!
We had a beautiful Easter. We started the day getting up early and heading down to Lobo Stadium for Sunrise Service. It was AWESOME! Randy Travis provided us with some wonderful worship. It only rained for about 10 minutes, so that was very nice. After service we headed to Frontier for some YUMMY grub! It's a tradition of ours every year we go with my mama. The kids were spoiled rotten by the Easter bunny! This was the first year that Isaiah REALLY understood what Easter was all about. He greeted everyone with "Happy Resurrection Day." At which point my heart melted. I love to see him Loving God! It makes me feel like I am doing something right as a parent. After breakfast we went home and I baked some cupcakes to take to Nana and Papa's. Then we headed over to Ryan's folks house and had an awesome time coloring eggs, eating some more yummy grub, and hunting for eggs (we had an inside hunt this year because it was SUPER cold outside, especially at nana and papa's!)! So here is our picture recap of our wonderful Resurrection Day!!!

ROCCO
We went to visit our puppy today. He officially has a name now, ROCCO! I said Rocky, Ryan said Rocco, then Isaiah said Rocco, so Rocco it is! He weighs just over 2 lbs now and is 3 weeks old. He is walking and LOVES to eat. He is so cute and cuddly. Hope actually walked up to him and pet him a few times. I knew she would come around eventually. We took my mom to meet him. She feel in love instantly, I think he did too. It's so cute all of the brothers and sisters lay on top of each other and then when their mom comes around they all want to nurse and tackle each other to get to the food. They all have grown so much since we last saw them. So here are some pics.
Look at that precious face

Isaiah likes him...a little!

First T-Ball game
Isaiah had his first T-ball game tonight! It is so cute! His team is the Yankees....wooohoooo! Our family loves the Yankees, especially POPPY! Let me tell you T-Ball is not like when we use to play. They don't keep score, there are no outs, they just have a certain amount of time to let the kids bat and then they switch. There are only three innings (if you can call them that). But I think it's cool because then the kids get to learn the game. And as Coach Steve says to the kids, What's the #1 rule? "HAVE FUN!!" Isaiah had a blast. My brother told him before the game that his mit was "too clean", so then while Isaiah was in the outfield he started pouring dirt into the mit. Lets just say, it is not "Too clean" anymore. Isaiah loved the fact that the helmets "bobbled on my head". He loves T-ball. I think he found his sport....till next time!
Safety first, Always wear a helmet....or just set it on top of your head, no need to push it down, right?!?!?!

BATTER UP (he hit the T a few times, but he did Great)

Running to First..."GO ISAIAH, GO!"

Running to home..."Do I touch the base???"

He is THRILLED to be in the outfield...can you tell?

Father/Son moment captured by Auntie

'NICE...my glove's not 'so clean' anymore'

I love this cute little stance, biting his bottom lip in anticipation

"Where's the ball Isaiah?"

Splish Splashin Away
Today we went up to my dad's house to celebrate my step-sister's bday. Ironically I didn't get any pics of the Bday girl, but I got a few of the kiddos in the bath. The kids always have so much fun at Poppy & Grandma's house. And since they live in the boonies, it's nice to give them a bath before we go home so they can fall asleep on the way home and go straight to bed. But this time the bath was a way of me hoping to 'wash away' the allergic reaction, so I didn't have to give Hope Benadryl. It didn't work! She ended up Benadryl'd (it's a new term in this household)! So sorry about no pics of the bday girl, but enjoy these of the kiddos. HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY KATIE! (Those were the days...j/k, I think my kids are just making me feel old today) We love you!
