Isotopes game

My Dad took us to an Isotopes game this last Sunday! We had all gotten dressed in our baseball gear and headed to the stadium Sunday before last, only to be rained out! Isaiah was SUPER disappointed. We all went to dinner and the whole time he kept asking, "is the rain gone, can we go now?" Isaiah wasn't the only disappointed one, Poppy was also VERY disappointed. So he got us tickets to go this last Sunday and it was a BLAST! All week Isaiah kept asking me, "How many more days till the baseball game?" So when we FINALLY got there, he was in heaven. He ate everything too! Hot dog, pizza, pretzel, cotton candy, and popcorn and ice cream. I thought for sure he was going to be up all night, but the minute we started driving, he Crashed! Thanks Poppy and Grandma for a great night at the ball park! We love you!

Happy Birthday Mama!

My beautiful mom turned a year older on August 4th! I won't tell you how old she is because she probably wouldn't like that. However, I think she looks FABULOUS for her age. My Meme (mom's mom) took us out to dinner at Pelican's to celebrate. We had a great time. We are all on a diet, except that night! We ALL indulged a little.

Water fun

One weekend in the middle of July We went to dinner with my mom, brother, and sister-in-law for our weekly Sunday dinner. We went to Bravo, a delicious Italian restaurant, in uptown shopping center. While we were there we decided to let the kids run through the sprinkler/water fountainish park (not really sure what to call it). They had a blast! When my brother and Ryan saw how much fun the kiddos were having, they decided to join in! It was AWESOME!

First day of School

So after Lots and Lots of praying and searching, we found an EXCELLENT school for Isaiah. Oakgrove Classical Christian Academy is a UMS (University Model School) meaning he goes two days a week and I homeschool two days a week. It's AWESOME! It's just getting started, so it's like having a second family. I have met some amazing and encouraging mothers. There are only 9 students in Isaiah's class! I am so excited about that because that means more chances for one on one teaching.
Today was Isaiah's first day! He was so excited. I on the other hand had to be pulled away from the door by MY mom :( I don't know what I am going to do without my little helper.
